The anaerobic digesters are rising out of the ground at the Altoona Water Authority's (AWA) Westerly Wastewater Treatment Facility in Altoona, Pennsylvania. In a few short months, AWA will have the ability to take advantage of surrounding markets to generate income, thereby reducing the cost of its renovation project.
